Privacy Policy

The short version
- No account needed for the free lessons.
- Your progress stays in your browser (local storage). We don’t receive it.
- No advertising trackers, no tracking cookies. We don’t sell data.
What is stored, and where
- In your browser: lesson progress, XP, concept cards, lesson feedback, and reading settings. You can erase it any time from “My cards” or by clearing your browser’s site data.
- Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
- Python in the browser: when you use a coding exercise, your browser downloads the Python runtime (Pyodide) from the jsDelivr content network, which receives your IP address as part of that download. Your code runs entirely on your own device and is never sent to us.
- Fonts are served from our own site, not from third parties.
Accounts and payments (future)
When optional accounts and Advanced subscriptions launch, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected (e.g. email address, progress sync, subscription status), the legal basis for processing, retention periods, and your rights to access, export and delete your data under laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
